Chinese Five Spice is used throughout southern China and Vietnam to season roast meat, poultry and even seafood.  Chinese Five-Spice powder encompasses all five flavors – sweet, sour, bitter, pungent, and salty. A little goes a long way. It is an excellent addition to marinades and is most famous for Five Spice Duck.
