Made from red jalapeno peppers that have been wood-smoked, chipotle peppers are rich, smoky and hot (but not searing).  Used extensively in Southwestern and Mexican cuisine, it will add a warm depth to your favorite dishes.  Similar in flavor to our ground chipotle, these flakes will add little bursts of heat and smokiness to your cooking rather than melding into the background.
